Japan with Alpine Route Tour 9N/10D

Mumbai to Mumbai tour’ Guests will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Tokyo. Welcome to Tokyo. On arrival we visit Ashikaga Flower Park – a park about 9 hectares (23 acres) that showcases the beauty of mainly ‘Wisteria (Fuji)’ as well as many other flowers. Later we fly to Osaka.

Today we proceed to Nara – first capital of Japan. Visit Nara Deer Park – A home to hundred freely roaming deers. Nara's nearly 1200 deer have been designated a natural treasure. Visit Todaiji Temple – A UNESCO World Heritage site is one of Japan's most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara. Drive to Kyoto, visit Golden Pavilion from outside, Also visit Kiyomizu Temple and pass by Nijo Castle. Then we proceed to Osaka. On our return journey we pass by Osaka Castle.

Today we proceed to Sagano Bamboo Groove by Scenic Railway ride which travels from Arashiyama, enjoy walk through famous Arashiyama bamboo grove - the forested ravine. Later we leave for Hiroshima.

Today we proceed to Miyajima Island by ferry. We visit Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The shrine was established in the time of Empress Suiko. Later we visit Bomb Dome, Sadako Monument and the amazing structure of the Memorial Cenotaph, dedicated to the ordeal of the nuclear attack that the city suffered and the memories of its victims. Later, we visit the Hiroshima History Museum and Peace Park.

Today we proceed to Nagoya by bullet train. On arrival we visit Shirakawa Go Village which is declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995 and they are famous for their traditional Gassho-Zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Later we leave for Takayama.

Today we proceed for Alpine route – which is famous for the high snow walls that line some of its roads in spring. Journey of this route starts from Tateyama Station and involves many modes of transportation as Cable Car, Highland Local Bus, trolley Bus, ropeway, Tunnel trolley bus. Later we proceed to Nagano – Capital of Prefecture.

Today we enjoy city tour of Nagano which includes Zenkoji Temple – one of the most important and popular temples in Japan. Also visit The Jigokudani Monkey Park – unique experience of seeing wild monkeys bathing in natural hot spring. The Park is inhabited with Japanese Macaques, which are also known as Snow Monkeys. Later we proceed to Hakone.

Today we proceed to Mount Fuji 5th station – Japan’s tallest peak and an active volcano (subject to operation), to enjoy spectacular views of the mountain (subject to weather conditions). Also visit Gotemba Peace Park, Stroll around Lake Hakone or Lake Ashi. Later we head to Tokyo.

Today we visit Palette Town which includes Toyota Mega web and Venus Fort. Later we pass by Rainbow Bridge. Later visit Asakusa Temple Complex, along with Nakamise Shopping arcade. We also get chance to take a Photo stop at Imperial Palace. Later we leave for Shinjuku Garden. In the evening visit Tokyo Tower Observatory deck to get the amazing view of the city and photo stop at Sky tree.
