Day 1 Dharamshala → Kareri Village → Kareri Lake

Altitude Gain: 1,800 m → 2,950 m Distance: ~7–8 km Trek Time: 4–6 hours Morning Drive from Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj to Kareri Village (approx. 2 hrs). Start trek from Kareri Village Trek Highlights Pine & oak forests Wooden bridges over streams Views of Dhauladhar range Gradual ascent, well-marked trail Afternoon Reach Kareri Lake by late afternoon. Explore the lake and surrounding meadows. Enjoy sunset views Night Dinner and overnight stay in tents Cold night
