This trek is becoming more and more popular these days being very short and having an easy access to the chotabangalKangra region. This trek is very scenic and offers wonderful opportunities for the foreigners to go on various passes in this region. Barot is an idyllic, tiny village where the mysterious Lambadug joins the Uhlfrom the north-east. It is also famous for the first hydel project in north India- Shanon HEP, built in the 193oV and a trout hatchery. It has four rest houses and a couple of guest houses. Sari Pass is one of the most beautiful and serene pass, at an altitude of 3700 m located in the Kullu and chota bangal velley. Sari Pass offers fabulous views of the Hunman Tibba peak, dholadhar range and dharamsura and papsura pir panjal 360 view of mountains. The trek is one of the most beautiful treks that introduces the traveler to the remote, hilly cultures of Himachal Pradesh. The scenic beauty of the Kullu valley and chhota bangal velley and the mountain peaks that dot that horizon is a treat for the nature lover throughout the journey. The region is also known as the Valley of Gods. Legend has that Phungnni mata (the presiding deity at log velley), opened a basket containing the gods of Kullu at the Sari pass and the strong winds blew the godses to their present abodes.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Pickup point Kullu to Thacah(one and half hour walk starts from 1 may).

• Day 2 :

  Thacah to Bhavsalake 5-6 Hours trek.

• Day 3 :

  Bhavsalake to near Sari Pass 5-6 Hours trek.

• Day 4 :

  Day hike to Dainasour lake and come back to camp(4300 Mtr).

• Day 5 :

  Sari pass to Aandli Mallah or Lhuardi village camp.

• Day 6 :

  Camp Lhuardi village to drive to Bir.
