Brighu Lake Trek Tour

Package Overview

A great weekend trek, Brighu Lake is a high altitude alpine lake trek which is just two days hike from Manali. The best thing about Bhrigu Lake is that you get to climb an ambitious height of 14,000 ft in just two days whereas on long Himalayan treks, you achieve such height on Day 4 or 5. The steep trail goes through virgin forests and open meadows till you reach the campsite of RolaKhuli. Lay your eyes on Hanuman Tibba and Seven Sisters peaks on your way. On second day, you trek uphill to the oval shaped lake which is believed to change colors with seasons. You may get lucky to see snow on the trek. Enjoy the peace and quietude around the lake. At such a soaring height, the clouds will be floating around you. On third day, you descend from the rice fields of PanduRopa where the grass is taller than you. Enjoy the old mountain villages and apple orchards in the last leg of the descend. End the trek in Vashisht by taking a rejuvenating bath in hot sulfur springs.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Drive to Gulaba campsite.
• Day 2 :

  Gulaba campsite to Raulikohli.
• Day 3 :

  Raulikohli to Panduropa.
• Day 4 :

  Panduropa to Vishist.
