Tour To Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple And Barkhor Street
In the morning, you will visit the Potala Palace which is built in 7th century and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels in the morning. After lunch, pay a visit to the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during king Songtsen Gonpo’s reign by princess Wencheng and its famous Barkor Kora, where you can buy or appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition Tibetan clothes etc.

Tour To Drepung And Sera Monasteries
After breakfast, we will to visit Drepung Monastery, which is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once the home of 10000 monks and Ganden Podrang in Drepung is famous for it was the administrative center during fifth Dalai Lama and later moved to Potala palace. After having lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa’s disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is its Buddhist monk’s debating held in the courtyard.

Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Karola Glacier - Gyantse - Shigatse. 361kms. Appx. 6 Hours
You will travel from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s holiest and most beautiful lakes. The 7200m Mt. Nojing Gangsang can be seen in the distance. After visiting the lake, you will drive to the mid-sized town of Gyantse via Karola glacier. Gyantse, elevation 3950m, is famous for its massive hilltop military fort and for the Pelkor Chode Monastery, which has the tallest Tibetan Buddhist stupa in Tibet.

Shigatse - Shegar (4050m) - Mt. Everest Base Camp (4150) 360km. Appx. 7hrs
Drive from Shigatse in the morning. In Shigatse, you will visit the famous Tashi Lhunpo Monastery where you can see the well-preserved largest statue of Jampa (future god) in the world. The monastery itself is abiding place for the successive Penchen Lamas. Then, we will drive to Rongpuk monastery which is close to Everest base camp E.B.C. passing the wild grassland and high mountains. You can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which are 8000m high or more, that is, Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Everes (8848m), Mt. Qowo O-ya (8201m) and Mt Magalu (8463m).

Rongbuk - Gyirong Port Appx. 7hrs
We will drive through beautiful landscapes along the Himalayas to Gyirong town.

Transit To Rasog Bidge
Our tour guide and driver will take you 24km from Gyirong town to the Rasog bridge and our Nepal staff will receive you on other side of the bridge and drive you to Kathmandu. The tour is officially ends here
