On this tour we will see a part of the renewed Lisbon in the last 20 years (since the 1998 World Exhibition) with several impressive engineering works and cultural exception spaces.
Depart from your hotel toward the Park of Nations. When arrived we’ll visit the Lisbon Oceanarium – this space is considered internationally as one of the three best aquariums in the world.
Hailed as one of the main national pride reasons the Oceanarium is one of the most popular place to visit in Portugal. The proximity to the marine world and its hosts, as the only two sea otters existing in Europe, sharks, stunning coral reefs, among other creatures promote a unique and unforgettable experience. It will also have the opportunity to observe the Pala Portugal (devised by Siza Vieira) – a large square covered by an imposing pre-stressed concrete visor, which is based on the idea of ​​a sheet of paper placed on two bricks.
If you want you can still visit the Pavilion of Knowledge – this work represents a moment of emotion, in a context that blend simplicity and complexity resulting in an architectural space of high level .
Then, if time permits, we can visit the Stadium of Light and Benfica Museum before going to the Hotel.
