On this tour we will be showing you Coimbra , its history, the history of Portugal and one of the most tragic romantic stories of the history of Portugal.
Starting from your hotel towards Coimbra, we will stop in Conimbriga (1) (one of largest Roman settlements in Portugal ). Then, in Coimbra we will be able to meet the existing historical heritage in the city center.
For lunch we can recommend you a restaurant within your requirements so you can be delighted with typical Portuguese food.
Then we will know the rectory of the University and the Quinta das Lágrimas (2) – the place of ‘Pedro and Inês’ prohibited loves. You can end your day enjoying a cup of tea in the Japanese Garden (3) before return to your hotel.
