Marwar (also called Jodhpur region) is a region of southwestern Rajasthan state in North Western India. It lies partly in the Thar Desert. The word 'maru' is Sanskrit for desert. In Rajasthani dialect, "wad" means a particular area. English translation of the word 'marwar' is 'the region of desert.'[1]

The region includes the present-day districts of Barmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali and parts of Sikar . It is bounded on the north by Jangladesh region, on the northeast by Dhundhar, on the east by Ajmer, on the southeast by Mewar, on the south by Godwar, on the southwest by Sindh, and on the west by Jaisalmer region.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Jodhpur

Arrive Pick up from Jodhpur Rly Stn. / Airport. Transfer to hotel and check in Hotel.

Day 2 : Jodhpur Local sightseeing (By Separate Cab)

After Breakfast proceed for local
city sightseeing tour. Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the
Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal.
Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II
around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

(This is the highlight of the tour). Also visit the beautifully and magnificently carved Havelis of Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli and Gandhi
Sagar Tank, followed by a visit to the Barabagh Hill. Overnight stay at Camp.Included Camel ride,Bonfire ,Folk music & Dance & All meals in Jaisalmer Camp.

Airfare/Transport fare to be paid full at one time in advance.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
