  I took an amazing trip from Diani to Tsavo in March, and it was such a fantastic experience! The drive was smooth, and the scenery transformed beautifully from the coast to the wide-open savannah. As soon as we entered Tsavo, I was struck by that iconic red hue everywhere. The soil has this rich reddish color that gives the whole park a unique vibe, almost like nature decided on a bold theme and stuck with it.The wildlife was abundant, and the atmosphere felt so alive. The elephants were definitely the stars of the show big, serene, and moving leisurely across the landscape as if they truly belonged there. With that red earth surrounding them, they blended right into the scenery. It was such a classic Tsavo moment! I also spotted giraffes gliding gracefully, zebras hanging out in small groups, and lions lounging in the shade, looking like they had no plans for the day.   My mother wanted to go on a safari for a long time. I went on a four-day trip with him. Tom's guide was great. He gradually made my mother accustomed to the safari and taught her how to see well while standing on the roof of the jeep and where to look at the camera - all beautifully. When a group of hippos swept past us in Naivasha, Mother exclaimed with emotion - Today I really saw the story I heard as a child! The moment we saw the lion at Masai Mara, we had tears in our eyes.   On this six-day safari trip, I got a chance to visit five different national parks, and each place is full of its own characteristics. The colors of the dry, volcanic soil of Tsavo West, Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop of Amboseli, the lakes of Naivasha, and the grasslands of Maasai Mara - all are eye-catching. It was great to see the animals and take pictures. Most of the Big Five can be seen.   LaMara put together a great luxury safari for me. Hit Amboselli the Nakura...3 nights 4 days. Our driver tour guide Nelson was the best...aka Kevin Hart from Jumanji....Nice toyota 4*4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle....Nelson knows his stuff and is great at finding animals....We scored Lions both days in Amboslli...the bomb....The elephants are incredbile in Amboselli.... Is a long haul to Nakura from Amboselli so dont know if I would recommend the 1 night in Nakura. But i didnt mind...saw rhinos there....Both lodges o takai and ziwa in nakuru were great.. waking up to the plains sunrise...nice....book the luxury...you only live once... Office staff excellent also....thanks LaMara... ...more
