Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppey - Varkala Tour

You will be picking from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). Munnar, situated 1600 Meter above sea level at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.

After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Places to visit are Tea Museum -displays the history and evolution of the tea plantations in Munnar (Closed on Mondays). Entry fee Rs.150/- per adult, the museum is open to tourists till 5pm. If you are a flora lover, pay a visit to the Floriculture Centre Munnar. Commonly known as Rose Garden, it has over hundred varieties of flowers and herbal plants. Open from 10 am to 5 pm and charges Rs.60 per person. The Eravikulam National Park in Munnar is one of the five national parks in Kerala, with rich flora and fauna, which is home to the famous Nilgiri Thar. The park closes at 4 pm. Entry fee (Indian adult = Rs.200/-, Indian Child between 5 to 12 yrs age = Rs.90/-, Foreigner= Rs.500/-) The Mattupetty Dam / Lake is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Munnar, surrounded by lush green forest. Entry fee Rs.40/- per person. Open from 9:30 am till 5 pm. You may also engage in boating and horse rides [depend on availability] (ranges from Rs.50 to Rs.700). The Kundala Lake / Dam is one of the most picturesque locations in Munnar. It requires no entry fees, but boating activities costs but boating activities costs approximately Rs. 400 (Per Person).. After a refreshing breakfast, drive to Alleppey (5 hours drive) and check in to Houseboat. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat

After early breakfast check out from the house Boat and drive to Varkala (04 Hrs), on arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Varkala - a small, peaceful place just 51 km from Trivandrum international airport and 176 km from Cochin international Airport. Varkala's main beach, Papanasam is long and golden with a stunning backdrop of red laterite cliffs from which healing mineral water springs forth. Varkala is flanked by endless beaches to the north and south. Varkala's Temple Junction is home to the ancient Janardhanaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu that was largely rebuilt in the 13th century. Overnight stay is in Varkala.
