Our day begins with a delightful breakfast, preparing us for an exciting exploration of Kathmandu's renowned sites. Our first stop is the iconic Swayambhunath stupa, perched atop a small hill. A comfortable vehicle takes us halfway up the hill, where we are greeted by a lively troop of monkeys. We admire the Buddha statue at the serene pool before ascending to the stupa's summit. From there, we are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Next, we make our way to Kopan monastery, a spiritual sanctuary nestled atop Kopan hill. Surrounded by a tranquil forest, this monastery holds deep significance for Buddhists and lamas. Home to 360 monks and lamas, it serves as a spiritual center for the practice of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings.

Continuing our journey, we visit the magnificent Boudhanath stupa, known as one of the world's largest Buddhist stupas. This famous UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as "Little Tibet." As the sun begins to set, we witness the enchanting lighting ritual that illuminates the stupas. The best views can be enjoyed from the nearby monastery or the rooftop restaurants. As the morning sun rises, we savor a delicious breakfast before embarking on a 45-kilometer journey east of Kathmandu to reach the enchanting Namobuddha.
