Day 1

Arrival transfer NJP Station/ Bagdogra airport to Phuentsholing.

Meet & Greet on Arrival in Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/New Jalpaiguri Railway
Station (NJP) & Transfer to Phuentsholing - It is approximately 170 kilometers and 4 hours drive. Phuentsholing, is a border town in southern Bhutan, Phuentsholing lies opposite the Indian town of Jaigaon, in West Bengal. Over Night Stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2

Transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimpu

Morning after processing tourist permit formalities, check out from Hotel &
Transfer to Thimphu(2300 meter/ 7600 feet) 178KMS in 08Hrs. Thimphu lies in a beautiful valley, sprawling up a hillside on the west bank of the Thimphu CHHU River and has a total area of about 1809 sq. km. Visitors can enjoy relaxing walk in the valley at evening. Overnight stay at Thimpu.

Day 3

Full Day Thimpu city tour.

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial
Chorten (Monument) and Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit, Changangkha Monastery, Taking Preserve Centre, Taking, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 4

From Thimpu to Paro.

After breakfast visit Half day local site seening on the way to paro. Afternoon, transfer to Paro. 65 Km. in 2 hrs. Overnight in Paro.

Day 5

Taktshang Monastery OR Chelela pass excursion.

After breakfast excursion to Taktshang Monastery (approx. 5 hours round trip walk): It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site has been recognised as a most sacred place and visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. The hike to the
monastery makes a splendid half day excursion.

Day 6

Transfer from Phuentsholing to NJP/ Bagdogra Airport.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Train Station /
IXBAirport for departure.(Distance: 170 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of NJP/IXB: 89 mts.)
