  The 6-day private jeep ride with Natural World Kenya Safari was a colorful discovery. Samburu National Reserve has given us animals that we don't see anywhere else—Grevy's zebras and reticulated giraffes. The sea of thousands of flamingos in Lake Nakuru is a living painting, and the rhinoceros and many species of birds there have enriched the experience. Towards the end of the tour, we witnessed a lion hunt from close quarters at the Masai Mara, which thrilled the entire group.   Our visit to Samburu was a unique experience. As we left the hustle and bustle of the city for northern Kenya, the scene changed. Although the roads were a bit rough, the guide was driving with great care. The famous reticulated giraffe was the first thing I saw when I arrived at the Samburu Reserve! Their design is very different. Then I saw the long-necked gerenuk walk right past our car. The most exciting was the Ewaso Nyiro River. There I saw huge crocodiles sleeping together.
