Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway station and board your vehicle to proceed to Gangtok. Gangtok at an altitude of 1750 m became the state capital in the mid 19th century and features government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. The town is a resting ground for travelers to North Sikkim and is surrounded by monasteries and orchids. Overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow of the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lama could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake waters. Also visit Baba Mandir dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh where only Indian nationals are allowed to visit. Overnight at the hotel in Gangtok. Note that Nathula Pass is subject to availability of permits and weather and road conditions and is typically an extra cost and closed on Monday.

After breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok drive to Lachung. Enroute visit villages and waterfalls as part of the scenic drive to Lachung. On arrival check in at the hotel and overnight stay at Lachung.

Breakfast at the hotel in Lachung and full day excursion to Yumthang Valley and return to Lachung. Yumthang Valley is known as the valley of flowers with abundant flora and fauna including rhododendrons and primulas and is the summer grazing ground of yaks. On the way back visit the Sulphur Hot Spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung. Note that Zero Point or Katao visits are subject to permits and may cost an additional Rs.4500-5500 per car depending on availability.

Breakfast at the hotel in Lachung and drive back to Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok check in to your hotel and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok and drive to Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri in time for flight or train for onward destination. Tour concludes on arrival at Bagdogra/NJP.
