Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : theni to thekkady

  Day 1: Theni – Suruli Falls – Thekkady (Night Stay: Thekkady)
  • 7:30 AM: Pickup from Theni by the 12+1 Tempo Traveller vehicle.
  • 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Visit Suruli Falls (near Cumbum/Theni).
  • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Scenic drive towards Thekkady (Kumily). On the way, stop at the John Pennycuick Memorial Hall if time permits.
  • 2:00 PM: Arrive in Thekkady, check-in to your hotel, and have lunch.
  • 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM:
  o Option 1: Visit a nearby Spice Plantation and tour the Kumily market.
  o Option 2: Attend a local Kathakali Dance or Kalaripayattu Martial Arts Show.
  • Overnight Stay: Thekkady / Kumily.
  🚗Day 2: Thekkady Sightseeing – Theni Drop
  • 7:30 AM: Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
  • 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Periyar Lake Boat Ride: Experience the highlight of Thekkady—the boat safari in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Elephant Junction: Proceed for an Elephant Ride and interaction or another brief Spice Garden Visit.
  • 1:00 PM: Quick lunch in Kumily.
  • 2:00 PM: Begin the return journey to Theni.
  • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Stop en-route at a local Theni attraction like the Veerapandi Temple/River or the Grape Gardens.
  • 5:30 PM: Drop-off at Theni, concluding the tour.
