Tosh Valley Trek – Animal Pass 4N/5D Tour

Arrive at Bhuntar then take transport to reach Barsheni and meet our team and then start the short drive to Tosh Village to start the trek enroute stop for breakfast and freshn up. The drive from Barsheni to Manikaran is on beautiful curvaceous road and takes around an hour and a half. The Tosh Valley Trek trail starts from above the Barsheni village with a beautiful view of Parvati Valley Dam and picturesque confluence of Tosh and Parvati River. Tosh Valley Trek starts with a gradual climb from the Tosh village along the raging Tosh river through dense forests of Pine, Oak, Deodar etc to reach Buddhaban meadow which is our campsite. As you reach Buddhaban campsite, enjoy the scenic surroundings and natural sprigs. You may also try your hands on bouldering at huge rocks.

We will start with morning exercise and sumptuous breakfast and proceed to Tosh Valley Trek. The trekking trail climbs from Buddhaban campsite towards the tree line to continue towards open meadows and clusters of Rhododendron and Juniper. After trekking for good 4 to 5 hours we will reach our campsite at Sharam Thach.

After a good sleep after getting used to the sleeping bags we start our Tosh Valley Trek with morning exercise and breakfast. After the steep climb you may encounter patches of snow which is going to be a challenging and once that is crossed the rest to the todays trekking trail will be an easy one. Continue on Tosh Valley Trek along the gushing Tosh River. After a short descent, you arrive at Shamshi Thach a beautiful campsite at the base of the valley with amazing views of Tosh Glacier in the north and Kullu Makalu Peak in the east. After enjoying the views during the height gain we return to camp for a hot cup of Tea.

After our morning routine we get ready for the exploration of the Tosh Valley Trek towards the Animal Pass lake (4260 meters) it’s an arduous trek of around 5 to 6 hours which offers the great views of snow clad peaks of Papsura, Dharamsura and Devachan. Trek little further to have the mesmerizing view of Deo Tibba Range.

Start early though it’s a long day but all downhill trek to Buddhaban. Be ready with your backpacks this is your last day of Tosh Valley Trek (Animal Pass Trek). We will trek back to Barsheni Village you can either take a transport to Bhuntar or stay in Barsheni for complete relaxation.
