Dal Lake is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The urban lake, which is the second largest in the state, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir” or “Srinagar’s Jewel”. The lake is also an important source for commercial operations in fishing and water plant harvesting.
Pahalgam means “A Village of Shepherds“is situated on the banks of the Lidder River, Pahalgam at an altitude of 7,000 feet is a picturesque township. Pahalgam is also the staging point for one of Kashmir’s oldest and most popular Kolahoi Glacier Trek.
The Tarsar Lake is dominated by the peaks of the Kolahoi mountain some 20 km to the east. The lake is separated by a mountain with a minimum peak elevation of 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) from another lake of the same nature known as Marsar Lake, which is in the vicinity of Dachigam National Park. Together these two lakes are referred to as the twin sisters. The 16th-century Kashmiri ruler Yusuf Shah Chak mentioned the twin lakes in his poetry, writing to his beloved:
When I remember the two tresses of the comely beloved,
Tears begin to flow from my eyes like streams from Tarsar and MarsarAir fare.

Day 1

Arrival Srinagar – Mughal Gardens Tour

Dal Lake

Day Highlights Mughal Gardens, Dal Lake and Houseboat
Day Details On arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative at the airport and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon Visit famous Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar Cheshma Shahi) & Shankaracharaya Temple) & Old and New Srinagar city, overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 2

Srinagar drive toward Pahalgam 95km

Day Highlights After breakfast drive towards Pahalgam
Day Details Departure from Srinagar by Jeep (early in the morning) after breakfast to Pahalgam. (2195 m high). 7201 feet. Pahalgam is surrounded by Mulberry, pine ,walnut ,cheer trees etc ; you may also do some trout fishing at a river (field stream). While reach to Pahalgam check in Hotel over night stay at in hotel .
Day 3

Phalgam to Aru

Day Highlights :- will Drive to Aru valley
After breakfast we will proceed to Aru Valley the land of mountains at here we can have natural view and explore for herbs, organic natural food and day leisure . over night stay in Hotel

Day 4

Aru Valley to Lidderwat (9 to 11 km)

Day Highlights Trek to Lidderwat, Evergreen Pine and Maple Trees
Day Details A gradual climb in the beginning, (traverse) through beautiful pine forest to Lidderwat. Camp at Lidderwat 8957 feets high 2730 m.

Day 5

Lidderwat to Kolahoi to Lidderwat Base Camp (13 to 14 km)

Day Highlights Trek to Kolahoi,
Day Details From Lidderwat to glacier: A gradual 28 km track makes you to return to the base of Kolahoi Glacier (11155 feet’s high) 3400m. Kolahoi peak is in a high of 17799 feet’s 5425 m. Overnight tent.

Day 6

ladderwat to Tarsar / Marsar Lake 11, 000 ft

Day Highlights:- Trek to Tarsar/ Marsar Lake
ladderwat to tarsar / marsar spring /lakes on the top of the mountains, the breath taking view on the top of the world feel , here you can find very rich plants and with luck you can also find precious stones and can have some cheese at the shepherd huts and you can also taste the Mountain Goat milk ( which is well known best for the memory and will make you feel relaxed and keep you healthy for your trek) over night stay at in Camp

Day 7

Tarsar /Marsar

Day Highlights:- from Tarsar/Marsar Trek back to Ladderwat.
This morning with the feel like a King of the World upon Great Mountains, After Breakfast you will proceed Back to ladderwat on the way Back we will change the Root to Explore highlands of the mountains and will check for the luck if we can find something precious for us .overnight stay at in hut/camp

Day 8

Ladderwat – Aru Valley

Day Highlights:- Trek Back to Aru Valley – Phalgam
This morning after breakfast we will Backpack and will Trek back To Aru (11 Kms Trek Ends) Aru to Phalgam.

Day 9

Phalgam(valley of shepherds) to Srinagar

Highlights :- This day Back to Srinagar for Night Stay.
Day Details after Breakfast we will proceed back to. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 10

Departure, Transfer to Srinagar Airport

Day Highlights Package Ends Here
Day Details After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last minute shopping in the city center. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal.
