Yamunotri the temple is comparatively new since it was damaged by the fury of weather elements. Here, there is a perennial hot water spring "Tapt Kund" or "Surya Kund".

As per Hindu myths, Gangotri is a destination where King Bhagirath executes penance after which River Ganga came down on the earth. Again after an early breakfast go away for Hanuman Chatti (Drive 32 kms) to set up your trip. Take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti to shorten your trek by 5 kms. On entrance begin your day on a hard trek of 7 kms one side. Get there at Yamunotri and pray at temple and also take a holy Achman to set up your most sacred pilgrimage to Char Dhams. Return to Phool Chatti in the twilight to come back to Hotel or Camp resort for dinner and relaxation. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Barkot to Uttarkashi (120km / 5 hrs).
Break of day drive to Uttarkashi, which is about 82 kms away and takes approximately 04 hours to reach. On reaching, check in at the previously booked hotel. The twilight is free for visiting Kashi Vishwanth Temple and Shakti Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel. Uttarkashi is a town in Uttarakhand, India. It is positioned on the banks of Bhagirathi River at a height of 1352 m above sea level. The place is known for housing many temples and ashrams.

Uttarakashi to Gangotri to Uttarakashi (100km / 4hrs)
After mealtime go away for Gangotri and on entrance take a holy dip in the River sacred Ganges, also known as Bhagirathi at its origin. Do Pooja after that and relax for sometime in the stunning environs. Come back to Hotel in the day to relax in the bright sunlight and some of wonderful views of the eye-catching valley. In the twilight perform the Ganga Aarti at resorts own riverbank. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Uttarakashi to Haridwar (180km / 7Hrs).
