Day 1 Leh Airport Pickup & Full Day Rest

Arrival at Leh Airport, where our representative will meet and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and settle comfortably into your room. The entire day is kept for complete rest and acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh. Take adequate rest and avoid strenuous activities to allow your body to adjust to the altitude. You may enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the hotel and relax at your own pace. In the evening, if you feel comfortable, you may take a short leisurely walk around the nearby area, without exertion. Day 2 Leh Local Sightseeing

Leh Palace

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your Leh sightseeing with a visit to Shindughat, a peaceful riverside spot offering beautiful views of the Indus River. Continue to Stok Palace, the former residence of the Ladakh royal family, known for its traditional architecture, royal artefacts, and beautiful mountain surroundings. Next, visit Shey Palace, a historic royal residence offering magnificent hilltop views, followed by the famous 3 Idiots School, featured in the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots, where you can enjoy memorable views and capture photographs. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, popularly known as the “Mini Potala,” famous for its beautiful prayer halls, ancient Buddhist statues, colourful murals, and peaceful surroundings. Later, visit Hemis Monastery, one of Ladakh’s largest and most important monasteries, renowned for its rich Buddhist heritage, ancient artefacts, and traditional thangkas. Next, visit the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, showcasing their history, achievements, and sacrifices.m Proceed to Shanti Stupa, a magnificent white-domed Buddhist monument situated on a hilltop, offering spectacular panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding Himalayan mountains. Day 3 Leh – Nubra Valley

After breakfast at your hotel in Leh, begin your scenic journey towards Nubra Valley, covering approximately 160 km with around 5–6 hours of total driving time, depending on road and weather conditions. The journey takes you through some of Ladakh’s most spectacular landscapes, with dramatic mountains, deep valleys, and high-altitude terrain. Drive towards the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, situated at an altitude of approximately 5,359 metres. Stop at the pass to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views, capture memorable photographs, and experience the cool mountain atmosphere before continuing your descent towards Nubra. Continue through picturesque villages and rugged mountain scenery towards Diskit, the administrative centre of Nubra Valley. Visit the famous Diskit Monastery, renowned for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue and magnificent panoramic views of the valley. Spend some peaceful time exploring the monastery and its surroundings. Continue towards Hunder, famous for its spectacular sand dunes and unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Day 4 Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake Via Shayok

Pangong Lake

Distance: Approx. 160 KM | Travel Time: Approx. 6–7 Hours After breakfast at your hotel or camp in Nubra Valley, begin your spectacular journey towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shayok route, covering approximately 160 KM with around 06–07 hours of driving, depending on road and weather conditions. Drive towards Shyok Village and continue along the beautiful Shyok River, passing through remote valleys surrounded by rugged mountains and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Enjoy suitable stops along the way for photographs and refreshments. Continue your journey towards Durbuk and then proceed through Tangste, a picturesque mountain village surrounded by magnificent landscapes. From Tangste, continue towards the world-famous Pangong Lake, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and changing shades of blue. Distance: Approx. 140 KM | Travel Time: Approx. 5–6 Hours After breakfast at your camp/cottage near Pangong Lake, enjoy some peaceful time by the lakeshore and take in the spectacular views of the crystal-clear blue waters and surrounding Himalayan mountains. Later, begin your scenic journey towards Leh. Drive through the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh and cross the Chang La Pass, one of the world’s high motorable mountain passes. Enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged mountains and valleys, with suitable stops for photographs and refreshments along the way. Continue your drive towards Leh, passing through scenic villages and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your pre-booked hotel and relax after the journey. Health Advisory for Leh: As per Leh Health Department guidelines, we advise a 12–24-hour rest upon arrival for acclimatization. Diamox 250mg tablets (twice daily) are recommended until departure. Please pay attention to health announcements at the airport.
Documents Required: - Inner Line Permit and valid ID (Passport, Voter ID, Aadhar Card, or Driver's License). Mobile & ATM Information: Prepaid mobile connections do not work in J&K. Only postpaid Airtel, Jio, and BSNL services are available. ATMs of SBI, PNB, HDFC, and J&K Banks are accessible.
