Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and transfer to Machame Gate for registration and park formalities. After meeting your professional mountain guide, you begin your hike through the beautiful rainforest trails of the Machame Route. As you ascend through the lush forest, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, colorful vegetation, and possible sightings of monkeys and tropical birds. Your guide will share information about Kilimanjaro’s ecosystem, history, and climbing routes. Continue hiking toward Machame Camp (3,000m), the first camp on the Machame Route, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes. After a relaxing break and picnic lunch, begin your descent back through the rainforest to Machame Gate. After completing the hike and park procedures, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Kilimanjaro day adventure.
