Departure
Your afternoon adventure begins with pick-up from your resort in Watamu. We’ll travel by private car toward Marafa Canyon, also known as Hell’s Kitchen—the largest canyon in Kenya.
Scenic Drive
The drive takes us along the Malindi road before turning off onto a classic African dirt road. You’ll pass through vibrant rural villages, getting a glimpse of everyday life before reaching the canyon about an hour later.
Explore Marafa Canyon
At the canyon, you’ll discover both the geological history and the local legend behind its dramatic red-rock formations. We’ll take a guided walk through the gorges and valleys (Safari Marafa), ending just in time for the breathtaking sunset, when the rocks glow in vivid shades of gold and crimson.
