Embark on a full-day adventure to Robinson Island, starting at 9:00 AM with a scenic drive from your village through Malindi to Ngomeni, where you’ll visit salt flats teeming with pink flamingos and enjoy a short nature walk. Continue to the coast where a boat (or a walk at low tide) will take you to Robinson Island. There, you’ll have time to relax on the beach or visit a local fishing village before enjoying a delicious seafood lunch featuring crab, shrimp, royal fish, and rice with octopus sauce—followed by fresh fruit and tea. After lunch, unwind in hammocks or lounge on the beach before heading back around 3:00 PM, arriving at your village by late afternoon.

Join us for a relaxing one-day adventure to the beautiful Robinson Island, combining nature, culture, and coastal charm. We depart at 9:00 AM from your village and head towards Malindi, continuing on to Ngomeni, home to vast salt flats that attract large flocks of pink flamingos feeding on tiny shrimp. Here, you’ll enjoy a short guided walk to admire the stunning landscape and birdlife.
From Ngomeni, we drive to the coast where a boat will be waiting to take us across the shallow waters to Robinson Island. During low tide, it may even be possible to walk across. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to unwind on the beach or explore the nearby fishing village while lunch is prepared.
Lunch is a delicious seafood spread featuring crab, royal fish, shrimp, and rice with octopus sauce, followed by fresh fruit and tea. Please note: drinks are not included, but they are available at very affordable prices.
After lunch, enjoy a peaceful break on the island with sofas and hammocks available for total relaxation. We begin the journey back around 3:00 PM, returning to the mainland by 4:00 – 4:30 PM, where a car will be waiting to take you back to your village.
