Package Overview

Varanasi Sarnath Tour is well-known for pilgrimage places in India. This is the place where Lord Buddhist delivered his first sermon. Morning, drive to the river-bank of Holy Ganga and go for a serene and scenic boat-ride and also visit some temples nearby. Then proceed for other sightseeing that includes – Morning Ganga Boat Ride, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Harishchandra ghat, Manikanika ghat, Nehru gali, Mother India Temple, Goddess Durga Temple, Hanuman Temple, Baranas/Varanasi Hindu University, Museum, Ruins, Deer Park, Statue of Buddha and Evening aarti.

Hotel Pick Up:

Hotel Pick up service by our driver from your booked hotel and then proceed for famous ghats of Varanasi with its local sightseeing. Our guide will be assisting you for the sightseeing places and will explain you about the holy city. Some of the sightseeing places and activities are discussed below –

Morning Tour (Ganga Boat-Ride)Varanasi Ganga ride

Early morning around 05:00a.m., Our Guide and driver will Pick you from your hotel and proceed to the main ghat named Dasaswamedh Ghat. From there You will go for boat ride and visit some famous Ganga ghats of Varanasi. Our guide will assist you and explain you about its history, rituals and religions. From Dasaswamedh Ghat proceed to Harishchandra Ghat and then up to Manikarnika Ghat. This will be the last ghats ad from there back to the main ghat and after reaching Dasaswamedh ghat, take a walk through Nehru gali/ Old path of Varanasi. Back to your hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast

After breakfast we will proceed for some sightseeing tour like -

Mother India Temple – This temple is also known as Bharat Mata Mandir. The temple is a kind of admiration to all those who take part in the formation of India as it was built before the partition of the India. The main attraction of the temple is the map of India that is worshipped by many devotees.

Goddess Durga Temple – The temple is dedicated to Hindu goddess Durga (incarnation of Parvati). It was built by a Bengali Maharani in the North Indian Style of architecture.

Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple – This temple is sacred temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman who was a great worshiper of Lord Rama.

Baranas/Varanasi Hindu University – it is one of the largest residential universities in the world. The university is associated with many Nation builders and great freedom fighters. Inside the university there is a temple of lord Shiva (Hindu God) made up of marbles. Back to your hotel for lunch.

After Lunch

After your lunch and some refreshment we will proceed for the rest of the sightseeing that will includes-

Sarnath Museum – it is one of the oldest museum sites in Varanasi. The museum contains a number of large galleries, displaying stone scuSarnath Day Tourlptures and Buddhist reliefs; with favourites include Buddha Taming Nalagiri, the Mad Indian Elephant, a Griffin creature, ancient peacocks etc.

Bhuddist Ruins/Sarnath Ruins – this is the place where Gautam Buddha took his first sermon. There is a Dhamekh Stupa.

Deer Park – It is a huge enclosure made for the deer to roam around freely. It is sacred place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.

Statue of Standing Buddha – The Statue of Standing Buddha is one of the tallest Buddha Statue in India made up of Sandstone. It is 80 ft in height. It took 14 years to construct this Statue. Buddhist monks from both Indian origin and Thai origin decided to build a statue of Buddha in Sarnath as he preached his first sermon.

Evening Ganga Aarti

Evening, you will be taken to the main ghat ‘Dasaswamedh Ghat’ where regulaGanga Aarti at Varanasi Ghatr Ganga aarti ceremony is conducted by the devotees. You can be part of this ceremony. With this aarti your day tour will be completed.

Back to your Hotel

After the end of the tour, our driver will drop you to your hotel. Evening is free for leisure.Entrance fees at monuments/parks/museums.
