One Day Mumbai with Elephant Caves Tour

Hotel Pick Up:

Morning our driver will pick you up from your booked hotel and drive to Gateway of India. From there take ferry ride to reach the island where the Elephanta Caves (UNESCO Heritage Site) is located. On reaching the island, our guide will be assisting you for the sightseeing places and will explain you every script of Elephanta caves and Mumbai city. The sightseeing attractions of Mumbai are discussed as below-

Elephanta Caves

Early morning proceed for the sightseeing of Elephanta Caves that is one of the most recognized UNESCO Heritage Site in India. The place is picturesque and peaceful. Inside the caves you will come to visit many old temples and ancient idols that scripted on the wall of the caves. Main idol is Lord Shiva and some demolished story that has been depicted on the walls of the temple. Walk inside the caves and our best guide will assist you and describe you all about the story and history of the caves that took place.

After you finish exploring the Elephanta Caves, drive back to the Gateway of India by ferry ride and from there drive for the next half of the city tour of Mumbai. Sightseeing that will include are discussed below-

Prince of Wales Museum

It is one of the main museums in Mumbai. Visiting time is from 10.15 am to 6.00 pm. (Every Monday to Sunday) but remain closed on public Holidays. This museum is a fine example of the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture where there are more than 60,000 ancient artifacts and oElephanta Cave Tourther art objects.

Jain Temple

It is a must visit place in Mumbai. This is a clean and peaceful place with an excellent marble work and is one of the oldest Jain Temples in Mumbai. It is a religious place and many devotees come here to worship.

Marine drive and Chowpatty Beach

Go for Marine drive and view the sea beach sightseeing point. You can see many locales passing through and sitting beside the beach or on the walls. It’s like a curve of sea that extended towards the north. Enjoy some fresh air and romance of the beach.

Back to your Hotel
