Package Overview

Delhi Heritage Tour is an interesting tour package that is blended with some historical monuments and ancient myths. There are many old and ancient building; monumental ruins include forts and palaces, tombs, shrines for gods and other historical places that highlighted the city, Delhi as whole. Some of the sightseeing includes like -Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb. Then drive pass through India Gate and President House/Rashtrapati Bhawan. After the end of the tour, our driver will drop you to your booked hotel.

Hotel Pick up service by our driver from your booked hotel and proceed for the Heritage sightseeing of Old Delhi. We offer transportation like private cars, and also local means of transportation. Our guide will explain every nook and corner of the Old Delhi. The sightseeing that is included in this itinerary is discussed below-

Red FortDelhi Heritage Day Tour

First of all visit the Red Fort. It is one of the World Heritage Site listed in UNESCO that was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1638. For 200 years, it was the residence of the Mughal emperor of India. The structures in the fort are constructed of red sandstone, bordered by a four- storeyed minaret which is covered by three large domes banded of ‘black and white marble.

Chandni Chowk

After drive pass through Red Fort proceed towards some nearby places like Chandni Chowk- literally means ‘moonlit market’and was established during the 17th century. It was once known for India’s largest wholesale markets. The market is also called as the Fatehpuri Bazaar. Here you can find all types of garments shops, spices, dry fruits markets, street foods. Roam around the market and explore some unique and select some best out of it.

Heritage Monuments of Delhil

Qutub Minar

You will be proceeding to Qutub Minar. It was built in the year 1193 which is 73 m-high tower of victory by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. The monument depicted the both Muslim and Hindu style of architecture.Originally it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India.

Humayun’s Tomb

It was declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 1993.Today its stands as a living journal as well as tomb during the time of Mughal Dynasty in India. It will be a great visit towards Humayun’s Tomb.

India GateMonumental Heritage Walk

India Gate is a memorable gate where the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers were killed during the World War Iof 1919. It is one of the most attractive tourist destination places in New Delhi.

President House/RashtrapatiBhawan

After passing through India Gate pass through the President House nearby the India Gate. It is also known as Rashtrapati Bhawan and officially it is the home place of Indian President. Inside there is a Mughal Gardens. It remains open for only one month and tourists are allowed to visit the garden.

Back to your Hotel

After the end of the Delhi Heritage Tour, our driver will drop you to your hotel.
