Mt. Katao-Located in the northern part of Sikkim, almost 144 kilometres from the capital, Gangtok, and 28 km from Lachung, Mt. Katao is amongst the most spectacular sights you can imagine in the state. However, one has to avail of permits from the army to enter the area where this majestic peak is located. This surreal mountain offers the onlookers a splendid view. This destination is also a perfect place for adventure lovers as sports like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and stone grinding can be enjoyed here during the winter season Zero Point-With super freezing temperatures at an altitude of 15,300 ft, Zero Point is really like heaven where one can get the most magnificent views. Also called Yume Samdong, Zero Point is the place where three rivers meet, surrounded by snow-clad mountains and offering a panoramic vista to view. One can often see yaks grazing on the grass to be found between the snow ridges. There is hardly any vegetation at Zero point other than some stretches of grassy land which become visible when the snow melts. After Sightseeing Return to Hotel at Lachung for Lunch.
