After an early morning breakfast in Nairobi travel south to Amboseli National Park which sits against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli lies in the semi-arid part of the country and is usually hot and dry but is fed by underground water filtered from Kilimanjaro's ice cap that feeds clear springs in the park. Reach your safari camp in time for the included lunch, take a tour of the safari camp and then have an afternoon game drive. One of the most spectacular sights in Amboseli is the large herd of elephants noted for an intact social structure. Accommodation at Tawi Lodge Luxury lodge in Tawi Conservancy. All meals included. Have breakfast and depart the Amboseli safari camp heading towards Lake Nakuru by road. Lake Nakuru is one of the soda lakes of the Rift Valley and is renowned for its flamingos. Take an afternoon game drive through the park keeping an eye out for wildlife such as zebras, monkeys, rhinos and other species including black and white varieties. Continue the safari to the land of the Maasai the Masai Mara. The Mara is famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest gazelle and zebra mid-year between July and September.
