7 Days Classic North Circuit Safari

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport the group will be met by a professional safari driver guide and transferred to Arusha. Arusha sits at the foothills of Mount Meru and serves as the main gateway to Tanzanias northern safari circuit. The remainder of the day is at leisure allowing guests to rest after their international flight or enjoy the lodge surroundings. Accommodation is at Tulia Boutique Lodge in Arusha with a Half Board meal plan. Bonus activities suggested include a town tour, Lake Duluti visit and a coffee tour.

After breakfast depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, approximately 2.5 hours drive. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant populations, ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River which attracts wildlife throughout the dry season. A full day game drive is conducted with a picnic lunch inside the park with expectations of sightings including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and a rich variety of bird species. In the late afternoon proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Eileens Tree Lodge in Karatu on a Full Board meal plan. A guided walking safari in the park is offered as a bonus activity.

After breakfast depart Karatu and drive towards Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the vast open plains. Upon entering Serengeti enjoy a game drive en route to the camp encountering iconic landscapes and wildlife including big cats, elephants, giraffes and large herbivore herds. Accommodation is at African Kongoni Camp in Serengeti on a Full Board meal plan. A bonus activity noted is cultural explorations at the Maasai boma visits.

A full day is dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives and breaks at the camp. August is highlighted as an excellent period for predator activity and large wildlife concentrations. The wide plains and river systems provide prime conditions for exceptional game viewing. Accommodation remains at African Kongoni Camp in Serengeti on a Full Board meal plan. Bonus activities include a bush dinner and optional hot air balloon safaris.

After breakfast drive northwards towards Northern Serengeti, a key region during the Great Migration season. This area is known for dramatic wildlife movements and river crossings depending on migration patterns. Game viewing continues throughout the journey turning the transfer into a rewarding safari experience. Accommodation is African Kongoni Camp in Serengeti with a Full Board meal plan and a bonus bush lunch is included.

After an early breakfast drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africas most concentrated wildlife areas. The crater game drive offers opportunities to see black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and large herds of plains game within the crater floor. A picnic lunch is served at a designated site inside the crater. In the afternoon or evening ascend the crater and return to Karatu for relaxation. Accommodation is Eileens Tree Lodge in Karatu on a Full Board meal plan. A bonus cultural visit at the Maasai Bomas in Ngorongoro is included.

After breakfast depending on the departure flight schedule guests will be transferred to the airport for their onward journey. This concludes the safari program and group transfers will be arranged to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
