8-Day Mid Luxury Honeymoon Safari in Northern Tanzania & Zanzibar

Arrival in Arusha and the start of the safari with an introductory briefing. Enjoy exploring Arusha city with lively streets, local food, markets and museums. Accommodation is at Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa, a quiet property close to the center offering a swimming pool, restaurant and spa facilities for relaxation before the safari proper.

Travel to Tarangire National Park for a day of wildlife viewing in a park famous for elephants and baobabs. Expect to look for predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs and to encounter abundant herbivores and primates. The rolling savannah scenery, rivers and low hills form an enjoyable backdrop to game drives. Overnight is at Eileen's Trees Inn in Karatu with meals provided.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a unique game viewing experience on the crater floor. The crater supports large numbers of hyenas, the rare black rhino, big tusked elephants and over 50 lions along with a variety of other wildlife. Early morning mist, steep forested walls and waterways create dramatic scenery. An early start for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti to witness predators returning from night hunting and grazers beginning their day on the plains. After the morning game activity return to camp for breakfast. Transfer from the safari area to Zanzibar Island for the beach portion of the honeymoon. Spend more time exploring Zanzibar Island with opportunities for beach relaxation, snorkeling, diving on coral reefs and visiting the atmospheric Stone Town with its historic buildings and spice markets. Return each day to Mwezi Boutique Resort for rest and meals.

The end of the safari journey with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for departure. Morning breakfast is included and you will check out of the resort and transfer to the airport in time for your outbound flight.
