Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit the famous “Mughal gardens” Nishat & Shalimar. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 2 Srinagar - Gulmarg

After breakfast,drivedown to Gulmarg also known as The Meadow of Flowers.The natural beauty of Gulmarg has attracted tourists since long. In fact the hill resort of Gulmarg literally means "the meadow of flowers". The snow-clad peaks and the lovely landscapes of Gulmarg have provided background for several Bollywood ventures. The slopes of Gulmarg make it Asia's only heli-skiing resort. There are immense beauty and adventure activities that make Gulmarg much more than a cool hill resort.

Enjoy the picturesque scenery of Gulmarg. Take a ride on the Gondola. View the spectacular mountains surrounding the Gulmarg valley and enjoy the crisp air of Khilanmarg. Overnight at Gulmarg.

Day 3 Gulmarg

Day free to explore Gulmarg and its natural beauty. Overnight at Gulmarg.

Day 4 Gulmarg - Pahalgam

Proceed to Pahalgam (148 kms/5 hrs). Enjoy the riverside location of Pahalgam and flowers and meadows during spring and summer. Go for walks along the Lidder River. Overnight at Pahalgam.

Day 5 Pahalgam

You have 2 day free to relax and absorb the serene beauty of Pahalgam. Stroll along the Lidder River,surrounded by snow capped mountains. Or you can visit Baisaran on your own. If it is the snow that beckons you then you can alternatively opt to visit Aru or Chandanwari (16 kms) where you can find snow even in summer. Overnights at Pahalgam.

Day 6 Pahalgam

Day free to explore Gulmarg and its natural beauty. Overnight at pahalgam.

Dal Lake

This morning transfer back to Srinagar. In the afternoon, enjoy a shikara ride on thefamous Dal Lake. Go souvenir shopping in the evening. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 8 Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar

After an early breakfast leave for an excursion trip to Sonamarg, the Meadow of Gold. Enroute see the famous Sind stream. Catch the glimpse of famous Thajiwas glaciers.

Return to your hotel in Srinagar in the evening. Overnight at Srinagar.

At the time of booking (and especially during the peak season) the hotel or the room category mentioned by us may be full. In that case we will give you an alternate hotel or an alternate room (higher category or lower category). Change in costs, if any, will be intimated to you and balance payable by you or refunded to you as the case may be.

Sometimes, we may also have to change the itinerary to accommodate the bookings or for other logistic/operational reasons eg. Not getting a particular hotel on a particular date may force us to twist the itinerary a bit to accommodate that at an earlier or later date. Changes in costs, if any, will be adhered to by both the clients and TW.

Generally check in time at all hotels varies between 12 noon to 2 p.m. and check out time between 10 a.m. to 12 noon (depending on individual hotels). This will be intimated to you at the time of booking. In case you arrive at the hotel well before that time, you will have to wait at the lobby till the official check in time. Normally, we 'request' for an 'early' check in at no extra cost. In case there is room available AND on the complete discretion of the hotel management, you may be allotted a room earlier. If you want an early check in on Guaranteed Basis, then they will charge you 1 night extra cost. Same goes for request for late check out. In the absence of any Specific written request from the client for guaranteed early or late check in/check-out respectively, The Wanderers will presume that it is on 'Request Basis'.
