Annapurna Region Trek

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representative will be welcoming you. They will take you to a 3-star hotel via private vehicle to ensure your comfort and safety. After reaching there, a short meeting will be held in the presence of all agents and travelers. The meeting will be focused on the journey to Annapurna Base Camp Trek including Itinerary and other information.

The morning will start with a breakfast and the journey to Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins. The trip will start from Kathmandu to Pokhara with the drive of 8 to 9 hrs by tourist bus. If you pay an additional charge, we can arrange you a direct flight from Kathmandu. Throughout the drive, rivers such as Trishuli and Marsyangdi and stunning mountains can be seen. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp actually starts from Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most popular destinations that offers view of breathtaking mountains, lakes, historical places and thrilling adventures.

It takes about 1.5 hours to reach Birethanti from Pokhara following Modi Khola. Passing through Hile village, teahouses, beautiful green hills, rivers and various villages, the next spot is Tikedhunga. Then the Annapurna Base Camp Trek proceed to Ulleri Magar Village following the suspension bridge and ascending on a stone staircase. From there, you can get the amazing view of Mount Annapurna South and Hiunchuli peaks.

After having breakfast at Ulleri Village, we will head towards Ghorepani Poon Hill. The Ghorepani Poon Hill with Annapurna Base Camp Trek initiates from Ulleri to Banthanti via oak woodlands and blooming rhododendron. From Banthanti following Bhurungdi Khola along with the dense forest on the way, you will be at Ghorepani. Wild flora and fauna, blooming rhododendron and mountains peaks are the major attractions during the trek. Ghorepani provides the opportunity to enjoy the scenario with Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Annapurna.

After a short trek from Ghorepani, you could reach to the beautiful Poonhill. The top of the hill at 3210m offers the view of magnificent sunrise view the Himalayan peaks. At this point, you can take photographs and feel the serenity of nature. The sight of Annapurna, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks is really enchanting. Then, we will head back towards Ghorepani to take rest for a while and have breakfast.

Today’s trek will continue to Chomrong from Tadapani after breakfast through Gurung selltement of Ghandruk. You will reach to Ghandruk making straight ascent with brathtaking vistas of Annapurna South and Fistal along the route. Chomrong hamlet is the popular destination for trekers in Annapurna Base Camp.

Today you will descent a stone staircase to reach Chomrong Khola after breakfast Chomrong. After crossing the suspended bridge, you will reach Sinuwa- small settlement. It takes a few hours to go to the village of Khuldighar from Sinuwa. You may reach the village of Bamboo by descending a stone stairway from Khuldighar to a region of unusually thick bamboo, rhododendron, and oak trees next to the Modi River. After a slow ascent in the cool shade of the forest, while following Modi Khola, you will eventually arrive at Dovan.

Today’s route will be through rhododendron and bamboo woods and waterfall. You will do down through Modi Khola and small gorge. In order to reach Deurai, the path descend first and then climbs, there is less greenery with possible to see the valley. Deurali is a great place to spend the night.

Ascend from Deurali about 1 hr you will eventually reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. . A breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Himchuli, and others, can be found at Machhapuchhre Base Camp. To reach Annapurna Base Camp you must follow Northwest route, having less vegetation. This section of the trail has potential risk of avalanches so care should be given. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South to Annapurna I, Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare can all be seen in from ABC. Absolute view of surrounded snow-capped mountains will make this day that you will never forget in your entire life. Finally, overnight stay will be at ABC.

You will leave your footprint behind on the Annapurna Sanctuary after witnessing an amazing sunrise from ABC and walking down to Sinuwa. Returning to Sinuwa follows the same route through MBC, Deurali, Himalaya, Bamboo, and Khuldighar. On afternoon and evening you can also spend exploring the Sinuwa village.

Today is the last day of treekin on Annapurna Base Camp Trek. After breakfast you continue descend via Chomrong and end at Jhinu Danda which takes around 4-5 hours. You will be enjoying in natural hot spring water by relaxing tired muscles which is 30 minutes walk from the teahouse.

You will board a local jeep or bus down town to take you back to Pokhara. It takes 3-4 hours, so have plenty of time to check into your accommodation. You can continue exploring Pokhara city, boating at Fewa lake. In Pokhara you will spend the night.

After roaming around Pokhara in the evening, you will head back to Kathmandu the next day via a tourist bus. After experiencing the joy of Damauli, Dumre, Mugling and Malekhu bazaar, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek gradually comes to an end. Upon arrival, there will be a meeting to conclude and discuss the experience of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. At night, you will be served a delectable dinner along with calm background music.

A simple farewell will be held, capturing memorable moments. This is the day to return to your home country after the adventure of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. One of our representeative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport via a taxi for your departure. Leaving behind the country and taking memories with you, finally, you will head back to your home.
