  The movement of seasonal wildebeest and zebras in the Tarangire area was a quiet but profound experience. On reaching Serengeti, the atmosphere changed completely - lions, cheetahs and other big cats were seen in the open wilderness very naturally, without any haste. Walking with the Bushmen and watching their hunting methods was the most unique part of the trip. It is an opportunity to understand how they live in harmony with nature.   The Absolute Best Team on Kilimanjaro A group of 4 climbers from India, along with 3 friends from the UK, completed an arduous climb via the 7-day Machame Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and they exceeded our every expectation along the way. The first impression we had of Aardvark Expeditions (Philemon Joel) was one of speed in responding to our requests, providing clear directions, and making truthful declarations about what to expect when we booked. Booking our climb was made easy due to the assistance provided by the sales team. During the actual climb, the guiding team of Bariki and Jonathan performed exceptionally well. They were vigilant in their monitoring of climbers, supported us when altitude sickness hit, and continuously provided motivation throughout our trek on the mountain.   I never thought I would travel to Africa. When I booked, I got more than what I had read about their services on the Nyayo Tours website. Guide Frank was strangely knowledgeable; he brought life to places in silence. During the entire trip, no one seemed to let me go without anything I didn't need. Our car even had a phone charger and a freezer to keep cold water - these little conveniences add up when you're on safari for hours. ...more
