  We wanted to experience the Tanzania safari in a short time, this 2-day tour is perfect for that. The guide was very polite and knowledgeable, sharing a lot of information as he went on the road. The green environment of Lake Manyara and the view of the lake looked very peaceful. After coming down to Ngorongoro Crater on the second day, it was great to see different types of animals together, especially the group of elephants and lions from a distance. Accommodation, transport and everything was perfect. If you want a small but full-fledged wildlife safari, you will like this trip. ...more

  In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight.   Each day of the trip is a different experience. The tranquil environment of Tarangire, the birds and baboons of Manyara, the big cats of Serengeti - all are worth seeing. I was thrilled to see the gonus running in front of the crocodiles of the Grumeti River. At the end is the Ngorongoro Crater - a huge natural theater.   I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   I never thought I would travel to Africa. When I booked, I got more than what I had read about their services on the Nyayo Tours website. Guide Frank was strangely knowledgeable; he brought life to places in silence. During the entire trip, no one seemed to let me go without anything I didn't need. Our car even had a phone charger and a freezer to keep cold water - these little conveniences add up when you're on safari for hours. ...more
