  In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight. The meals were fresh, filling and served to us with a smile. Aardvark Expeditions made our first Kili attempt feel possible, secure and fun. Highly recommended! ...more

  I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   Our safari was pure magic. Everything was well taken care of, no rushing, just calm and ease. The guide made it feel alive with stories, jokes, and patience when we were tired. We saw lions up close, elephants moving gracefully, flamingos painting the lake, and Kilimanjaro rising like a dream. It wasn’t staged, it was real — with long drives, laughter, small struggles, and warmth that made it human. More than photos, it gave me connection and peace.   My wife and I went on this 8-day trip, and it was one of the best decisions of our lives.
