  In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight.   This tour starts from Lake Manyara, where on the very first day we get to see the tree climbing lion. The lion is sitting on the branch of the tree - I have read about this scene, but it is a very different feeling to see it from the front. The moment of entering the Ngorongoro Crater was breathtaking. As soon as I entered the crater, zebras, buffaloes, elephants around and a black rhino in the distance - everything seemed to be together in nature's own kingdom. The most awaited part was the Serengeti and Mara River Crossing. I waited by the river for hours. Suddenly thousands of wildebeest and zebra started running towards the river. Watching them fight through water, mud and streams was surreal and emotional. The guide of Seven Wonders Safaris has kept us in the right position the whole time and explained every moment.   A life-changing experience indeed! 7 Wonders Safaris was perfect in every respect on this 6-day classic camping safari. The baobab-strewn fields of Tarangire are like a dream - seeing hundreds of elephants heading towards the river in the evening felt like I was inside the documentary. I saw the famous tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara, resting on acacia trees (our guide was the first to find out!). ). In the boundless wilderness of Serengeti, I saw cheetahs hunting, swarms of millions of wildebeest. Ngorongoro Crater was the end of the epic - rhinos, hippos and flamingos in the same volcanic bowl. Camping was comfortable (hot shower, great bush dinner) Guide Musa's knowledge and humor made it unforgettable. It's worth every penny! ...more

  I went to the Serengeti Big Game Walking Adventure with Seven Wonders Safaris. I have seen many wildebeest and zebra in Tarangire. Lions, cheetahs and other animals have been seen very closely in Serengeti. It was really fun to walk with the Bushmen on the last day. The guide was very nice, everything was well organized.   I never thought I would travel to Africa. When I booked, I got more than what I had read about their services on the Nyayo Tours website. Guide Frank was strangely knowledgeable; he brought life to places in silence. During the entire trip, no one seemed to let me go without anything I didn't need. Our car even had a phone charger and a freezer to keep cold water - these little conveniences add up when you're on safari for hours. ...more
