Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati Airport / Rly Station To Shillong - Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong, which is also called the 'Scotland of the East". On the way visit a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong To Cherrapunjee - Sightseeing And Transfer

Don Bosco Museum

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hrs After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. Later transfer to Cherrapunjee enroute visit Mawkdok Valley. On arrival Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. Note: Sohra (Cherrapunjee) & Dawki are rich by their own unique beauty & full of natural elegance. The places are paradise of nature lovers, explorers & travel enthusiastic. But these destinations are equipped with very limited options, facilities & basic amenities. Even best hotels are equivalent to basic 3*. That too without Fan (at few places), AC & Lift. Standard Accommodations over there are available; just with clean rooms, hygienic bathroom & basic non vegetarian food (very limited options are there for vegetarian guests).

Day 3 Cherrapunjee - Sightseeing With Double Decker Bridge

Mawsmai FallsNohsngithiang Falls

After breakfast we get ready for a half day trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Sunday Closed) deep inside the jungle. It will take 3 to 4 hrs (depending on the physical fitness of the person). Afternoon visit Nohsngithiang Falls (also known as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Koh Ram Hah and Ecopark. Evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 4 Cherrapunjee To Guwahati - Transfer Via Laitlum Canyon

Approx Distance: 170 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs After breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Laitlum Canyons. Laitlum Canyons is a little-explored yet enthralling tourist spot known for its sublime natural beauty. The hilltop overlooks breathtaking landscapes which include undulating verdant hills. The canyon is covered with a white misty blanket and is known for the best bird's eye view of Shillong. Later drive to Guwahati. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 5 Guwahati Hotel To Guwahati Airport / Rly Station - Sightseeing And Transfer

After breakfast check out from hotel, proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark), Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum (Closed on Monday), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden (Closed on Friday), Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). Later drop at Guwahati Airport / Rly Station for onwards Journey.

Important Facts For Travelers

Please carry original ID proof (Voter ID card/Passport/Driving License.) for security purpose & hotel policy.
We need following for process your booking Guest Name & Contact Number. Naming List with gender & age.
High season surcharge will be applicable for every booking of 20th Dec to 5th Jan during X-Mass and New Year & also during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Holi (as per date).
The tourism infrastructure in Seven Sister are not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis morning & evening.
The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Seven Sister region guest may have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.
Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive.
Room Heater available with an extra cost bourne by the guest directly (Except at Premium & Luxury Packages).
Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light.
Basic personal items to be carried include, feather jacket & heavy woolens during winter and light woolens during summer, walking boots, Umbrella or rain proof jacket during monsoon, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & Sunglasses.
Advice guest to bring heavy woolens if traveling to Meghalaya as this area is cold throughout the year.

About Hotel

Check-in time at 14:00 hrs. & Check-out time will be 11:00 hrs. (Always vary hotel to Hotel)

A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
For Extra adult in the room, we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress for rollaway bed.
Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising with any services.
