Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Guwahati | Stay at Guwahati

  Arrive at Guwahati Airport Pickup.
  From the Airport, proceed to Shillong hotel.
  The local representative will meet you & will provide your transfer to the hotel.
  On the way give your first evening snacks stop at Umiam Lake & enjoy a boat ride or any water sports ride.
  Before dark visit first falls of Shillong Elephant falls and Lights of Shillong from Shillong pick.
  Upon reaching, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure wherein you can choose to explore the local market.
  Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong

• Day 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunjee (80 Km)

  Post breakfast at the hotel, and get ready to explore the natural wonders of Meghalaya.
  As you board your transfer to Cherrapunjee, take your first stop at Elephant Falls.
  Further, visit the breath-taking Mawkdok Dympep Viewpoint which offers wonderful views of the V-shaped valley with sloping hills carpeted with green on either side.
  Later, hike for approx. 200 meters to reach the cascading 3-tiered Wei Sawdong Falls.
  After this, stop at the viewpoints of Nohkalikai falls and Seven Sisters’ Falls to enjoy the amazing views of the waterfalls.
  Next, spend some time exploring the Mawsmai and Arwah caves famous for their fossils that can be viewed with the lit-up interiors.
  Double Decker Root Bridge
  After completing the day’s sightseeing, reach your hotel in Cherrapunjee.
  Overnight stay at the hotel/Home Stay in Cherrapunjee.

• Day 3 : Cherrapunjee - Mawlynnong – Dawki-Shnongpdeng (180 km)

  After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your transfers to Shillong.
  Take your first stopover at Mawlynnong (110 km/ 02 ½ hrs drive) and get a chance to walk around Asia’s Cleanest Village.
  On the outskirts of the village, witness nature’s wonder in the form of a Balancing Rock, which remains unmoved through years, despite the storms and cyclones.
  Later, take up to visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village. (Optional)
  Post this you will reach Dawki where the ultimate experience of boating in crystal clear waters of the Umngot river awaits you (at your own cost).
  India – Bangladesh International Bordar (Sylhet District).
  After enjoying your boat ride, head to your stay in Shillong.
  Overnight at Shnongpdeng

  • Themes : Mountaineering, Sightseeing

• Day 4 : Shnongpdeng- Shillong (100 Km)

  Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in Khasi hills and have your breakfast.
  Get ready and start your journey for local Sights of Shillong
  On the way, take a photo stop at the beautiful site of the Umiam lake. Visit Umiam lake as you leave Shillong and enjoy water sports.
  After soaking in the views, head to your hotel in Shillong

• Day 5 : Shillong-Guwahati (100 km)

  Have your breakfast at the hotel and pack your bags as you going to explore last location of your amazing Assam-Meghalaya trip today.
  Early Morning Maa Kamakya Devalay Darshan.
  Umananda Mandir (Brahmaputra River Island).
  Balaji Temple, Baishishta Ashram
  Evening Bramaputra cruise
  Overnight stay at Guwahati

• Day 6 : Departure | End of The Trip
