Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Manali / Solang Nullah (2480mt.) / Dhundi (2480mt.) 4hrs

We will drive to Solang which is 16 km from Manali by jeep. This is a most
Enchanting glaciated valley, which has been mentioned and visited by European
Trekkers as early as 1870. The height of Solang Nullah plateau is 2480 meters. At this
Place are located the mountain huts with indoor sleeping facilities. The old remnant
Of once the glaciated Lake is clearly visible. In winter this place is used as nursery ski
Runs for beginners. The water mills are spread throughout the banks of river. The trek
Will start from here to Dhundi on the under construction road in the beginning and
Then after Dhundi it starts getting steep and we leave the road behind. Today we have
To cross a couple of streams, some of them have temporary wooden bridges and others
Have to be jumped across. Today we will camp at Dhundi. Dhundi is another alpine
Plateau where one has holds of different flowers growing in abundance. From this
Point one can have the glimpse of Indrasan (6221m) and Deo Tibba (6001m)

Day 2

Dhundi / Beas kund (3640m) / Dhundi. 7/8 hrs.

Today we will hike up through Bakarthatch to Beaskund.The trek is along the Beas.River (Solang Nullah) and has to ford one turbulent stream during the approach and from hop from boulder to boulder. . The height gained is roughly 700 meters and has to trek over loosely held boulders on dying glacier. Beas Kund area itself is a very interesting alpine plateau. On one side of this is holy lake where Rishi Vyas took his daily bath. You will be surrounded by the mighty Himalayan peaks which are almost 6000m high. You will take the same trail to come back to your camp sight Dhundi.Camp at Dhundi.

Day 3

Dhundi / Solang / Burua / Shanag / Goshal / Manali. (6 hrs)

This morning after breakfast trek down to Solang and from there you will trek through some Himalayan villages. Here you get the chance to experience the local culture. Leaving this wonderland with memories to cherish.
