Set amid picturesque surroundings Tattapani is on the Shimla-Mandi highway in Mandi District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of 665m on the bank of the Sutlej the hot springs at Tattapani are famous for their curative and invigorating properties. They attract people from far and near. The Shiv Cave lies only three kilometers from here Tattapani offers a variety of sporting activities such as trekking, fishing and rafting. This natural sulphur spring is pure and has curative power for various kings of bodily ailments. The water level of the spring keeps changing with the fluctuation in the water level of the river. Tattapani means hot water.
