Birding will remain within the upper limits of warm broadleaf forests. Its two hours journey from Samdrup Jongkhar to Narphung, however birding stops will take extra time. Reaching Trashigang(1500m), halt a night in hotel in Trashingang town. Birding will be along the motor vehicle road. After crossing Mongar town and camp site at Yongkola or Norbugang for three nights, 2 days. Drive towards Trongsa, passing through various ecotypes; Blue pine forest, mixed conifer forest, Fir forest and finally crossing Yotongla Pass (3425m altitude) and broadleaved forest.
