Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Desert Safari in Bikaner

Arrive in Bikaner on your own. A pleasant morning in the heritage city will welcome you. Check in to the hotel and relish your breakfast. You have free time till afternoon. You will leave from hotel at around 3 in the afternoon to start your desert safari. The desert is around 30 minutes from Bikaner. As soon as you reach, hop on a camel and take a ride for 2 hours around the mighty Thar Desert. Enjoy the beautiful sunset in the sand dunes and sip your tea taking in the beauty of the evening. Later enjoy a traditional performance of Kalbelia dancers on folk music followed by cocktails. Folk music is one of the many specialties of Rajasthan. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the camp. Spend your night gazing at the glittering starry sky.

Day 2

Bikaner

Bikaner is known for its majestic forts, palaces and temples. Have your breakfast at the camps with a mesmerizing view of sunrise. Leave for hotel bylunch time and have your lunch at the palace area. After lunch continue your tour to the world famous Karni Mata Temple also known as The Rat Temple. The world famous temple is in the small town of Deshnoke, near Bikaner. The temple is famous for its black rats, which are treated as sacred and fed in the temple. On your way back to the hotel, visit the Camel Breeding Farm also known as National Research Center on Camel. Half of India’s camels are bred here. Have a royal dinner in the evening with cocktails, barbecue and bonfire. Relish a delicious local cuisine called Lal-maas followed by traditional folk music. Stay overnight at the hotel.
