Today morning your sightseeing journey starts. Make a visit to the Victoria Memorial (Closed on Mondays), St. John’s church, Mother Teresa’s House (Closed on Thursdays), Dalhousie square which was once the city’s financial, social, and political nucleus and the Howrah Bridge, the busiest cantilever bridge in the world through which 1 million vehicles and 1.5 pedestrians pass every day, followed by a visit to the flower market and the marble palace (Closed on Mondays and Thursdays). Today you will be transferred to the airport from where you board your flight to Bagdogra. After your arrival at Bagdogra airport you will be received and greeted by our local representative and then a comfort ride will take you to Darjeeling. Today early morning at 4AM, drive to the tiger hills which is located 11kms from Darjeeling town, likely a 45 minutes’ drive. Once reaching there witness the glorious dawn when the Sun rise lighting up the Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s 3rd highest peak. On returning back you may visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop with manicured gardens, falls, from where you get a complete view of the of Darjeeling landscape, the mount Kanchenjunga and the other mighty Eastern Himalayan Peaks. Return back to your hotel for breakfast. Later proceed to pay a visit to the Himalayan Mountainering Institute which is said to be the pilgrimage for all the mountainering enthusiasts of the world. You will also be able to visit the zoo (Closed on Thursdays) which is in the same site. The Zoo here shelters the animals which are found in Upper Himalayas. Some of the animals found here are Red Pandas, Snow Leopards, Tibetan Wolf, etc. Then proceed to see the Tenzing Rock a huge natural rock in Darjeeling which is named after Tenzing Norgay, a historical figure who along with Edmund Hillary made history by climbing the Mount Everest for the first time in 1953. Visit the Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Closed on Sundays), where you can see the men and women supporting themselves by making handicraft items like woolen shawls, carpets, carved wooden crafts and leather items. Then proceed to visit the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda where you can join the prayers. The spiritual ambience there with continues chants and prayers will definitely awaken the spirituality inside you. Concluding your day visit the tea gardens and evening free for shopping in the Mall Road. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

After breakfast drive towards Kalimpong. On reaching Kalimpong check in your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Kalimpong includes visit to Mangal Dham, a temple spread over 200 acres dedicated to Lord Krishna. Then proceed to see the Deolo Hill. A park is located at the summit of this hill constructed for recreational purpose. Then proceed to Dr. Graham’s Home located on the lower slope of the Deolo Hill spread over 500 acres of land which houses bakery, poultry, dairy, hospital and farm house. Later proceed to Durpin Dara hill which commands an exhilarating view of the snowcapped Himalayas. You may also visit the Pine View Nursery. Overnight stay at Kalimpong

After your breakfast today drive to Gangtok. On reaching check in your hotel, refresh yourself and proceed to visit the local attractions of Gangtok, which includes visit to the Flower show, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom (Closed on Sundays), Research Institute of Tibetology, Droul Chorthen, the biggest and the most important stupa in Sikkim, Enchey Monastery, a religious center of Gangtok. Today visit Tsonmgo Lake which is a glacial lake situated 40 kms from Gangtok. It is a bone-chilling ride through a narrow mountain road before you reach this sacred lake. Literally the name “Tsonmgo” means “Lake Head” or the “source of lake”. There is a small temple near to the lake dedicated to Lord Shiva. Yak ride is the favorite activity of the visitors here.
