Day 3 Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir – Gangtok (55 Kms One Way)

Tsomgo Lake

After a delicious breakfast at hotel visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok. Visit To Nathula Pass (14450ft): The road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine flora. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire. Nathula is open for Indian nationals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. (Rs.5500 /- Vehicle Extra to Visit Nathula Pass).
