Mahabaleshwara temple - Mahabaleshwara Temple is one important pilgrimage site for the Hindus but it is not just limited to that. People from many sects visit this place in Gokarna. The temple is beside Arabian Sea and is surrounded by hills. The scenic beauty of this place makes people bere of words. A Shiva Linga known as the Atmalinga is worshipped in this Mahabaleshwar temple. Built using white granite, it is a classic example of the beauty of Dravidian architecture. 1500 years old carved stone Lord Shiva idol in the standing position represents the main deity.

Kudle beach - Kudle beach is another picturesque beach in Gokarna, surrounded by hillocks and rocks. One can spend some time in the beach, relaxing in the lap of nature; get some breathtaking views of the sea. The beach is a paradise for those who love peace and quietude while they travel. Many local people prefer this beach for a morning or evening walk or practising yoga, as the Kudle beach is not invaded by large groups of tourists and as a result, has very little crowd and quite noiseless. The beach is usually deserted, except for the peak months from November to February, when foreign travelers and backpackers populate it.

Om Beach - Om Beach is shaped as two semi crescents joined together forming the shape of Om (Hindu Symbol) hence the name Om beach. The beach has a breathtaking view of the sunset.  For someone who loves the beach, Om beach is a must visit. The long stretch of white sandy beach adjoining the rocky terrain is excellent and appealing to the eyes. The beach is not always crowded yet for those who love to spend their precious lone time can find the place intimidating.
