Yumthang situated at a height of 11800 Feet is popularly know as Valley of Flowers. Wild flowers such as Primulas and Rhododendrons bathe the landscapes in rich colors making it a tourist hot spot. The approach to Yumthang is from Lachung Valley, situated at a height of 8000 Feet. The village spread out on the either side of Lachung Chu has managed to retain in unique culture and tradition.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling

  On arrival at the Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (on your own), and drive to Darjeeling on arrival you will check in to your Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure for Shopping.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling

  This Morning (around 4 AM), you will drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over the fabulous views of the famous Mt.Kanchendzonga (28,208 Feet) (subject to clear weather conditions). Later visit Ghoom Monastery and other places of interest. The evening at Leisure.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling - Gangtok

  Today take picturesque drive to Gangtok, where on arrival you will check in to your Hotel. Night stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Gangtok - Lachung

  Today take drive to Lachung. Evening free to enjoy the charm of Sikkimi’s hospitality at Lachung. Night stay at Lachung.

• Day 5 : Yumthang

  Morning visit to Yumthang valley. At evening comeback to Gangtok, night stay at Hotel.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 6 : Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Babamandir - Gangtok

  Today take a beautiful drive to Tsomgo Lake & Babamandir. Back to Hotel in the evening. Night stay at Gangtok.

• Day 7 : Gangtok

  Full Day Local Sight Seeing. Night stay at Gangtok.

• Day 8 : Gangtok - Bagdogra/Newjalpaiguri

  Today you are transferred to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward Journey.
