Himalayan Village Tour

The flight into the Himalaya reveals breathtaking views of the great peaks MT Dorje Lakpa, MT Ganesha, MT Purbi chhyachu, MT Langtang, etc., (weather permitting) taking you right into the Himalayan Kingdom's scraping airstrip at Kathmandu. On arrival you will be greeted and transferred to Hotel, in the afternoon free for independent activities, Overnight at hotel.

: Visit Swoyambhunath Stupa with its 2,500 year history. Later visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residence, Kasthamandap, Mahadev & Parvati Temple, Kumari palace sacred for Buddhists and Hindus and bazaars.In the afternoon, visit Patan Durbar Square, the old Newar City with the Golden Gate, the Temple of Taleju, Golden Temple and surrounding beautiful monument, overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, drive to “Chitwan National Park” A World Heritage Site lies in the Tarai region of Southern Nepal and is well known to be the best managed National Park in Asia. One will discover a lost world of towering Trees, twisting vines, one horned rhinoceros, Crocodiles, python, deer and some of the world’s most Exotic birds.
Upon arrival you will receive and greet by resort staff, accompanied with refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programs for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.
13.00: Lunch
15.00: Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus (inhabitant of Jungle). In the evening you will see amazing Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River.
19.00: Slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
20.00: Dinner & overnight at jungle resort.

After breakfast, enjoy the full day of jungle safari to discover the nature and wildlife of Nepal.
06.00:Wake up call.
06.30:Breakfast.
07.00:Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and you will see two rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial, Jungle Walk, on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing.
13.00: Lunch
15.30: Elephant Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
19.00: Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers.
20.00: Dinner & Overnight at resort / lodge.

09:00: Visit to the Elephant Breeding Centre. Later we embark on a road trip to Pokhara (4 – 5 hrs drive), afternoon city tour, visit David fall, Gupteswor cave, Tibetan refugee camp, overnight at hotel / Resort.

Early morning drive to Sarangkot to view sunrise over Mt. Annapurna, Macchapucchre and Dhaulagiri etc. (weather permitting), drive back to hotel and after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu (optional: 20 min. fly back to Kathmandu), overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Full day tour: Drive to Nagarkot, to view the majestic Himalayan ranges, (if weather permits) later short walk or drive to Changu Narayan, the oldest Hindu temple, Visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows, Lions Gate, Nyatapola Temple square, Bhairab Temple, ceramic/pottery square and Dattatreya Temple, overnight at hotel.

Drive to Sankhu village; visit Bajra Jogini, typical Newari village, on the way back visit Boudhanath, Buddhist shrine surrounded by many typical houses and monastery of the Tibetan refuge later visit to Pashupatinath, the most sacred Hindu temple of Shiva, at the bank of the river Bagamati, overnight at hotel.

Tour to Dakshinkali, Pharping, and Kirtipur,
Visit to Dakshinkali, 22 Km outside of valley, is one of the main temples of Nepal dedicated to the goddess Kali. where on Tuesday and Saturday one can see the Hindu rituals, with Animal sacrifices, particularly of cock, duck and goats, later on the way back visit Pharping typical charming village,
Visit Kirtipur, one of the oldest Newar medieval settlements and one is still a center of newar cultural, the name Kirtipur comes from Kirti (glory) and Pur (city). It is also said that once a queen named Kirti ruled over this place, so it might have been named after this queen. It consists of many temples, gumbas (Buddhist monastery), and overnight at hotel.

At the arranged time, Our Representative will drop you at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal, for final departure.
