Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh (l)

    8:30 AM Depart from your hotel in Saigon for My Tho city by air-conditioned bus. Upon arrival My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Temple then board the motorboat at a pier and cruise on the Mekong River. Enjoy the unique view of floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house . Continue the journey on the river until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), from here take a horse cart to a performance site for Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). Taste seasonal tropical fruit in the lush gardens nearby. Afterward, take small hand-rowing boat (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre), slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed. Before heading to lunch, visit bee-keeping farm and enjoy honey tea in a typical Mekong house . After lunch, board the motorboat to the workshop for coconut candies making process . Sample of candies can be tasted. Returning back to Ho Chi Minh City.
