9 days Kenya Discovery Safari enables you to see the highlights of Kenya in nine days. You will tour Amboseli, Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi – Amboseli

  Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and drive southwards via the scenic surroundings to the remote Amboseli National Park arriving in good time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Evening Game viewing drive in the reserve, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

• Day 2 : Amboseli National Park

  Spend the whole day at leisure with unlimited morning and afternoon game viewing in Amboseli which is in inhabited by special game adapted to the Mountain Environment. You will be able to view the highest mountain in Africa (Mt. Kilimanjaro) as you make the – game drives.
  
  Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
• Day 3 : Amboseli National Park- Aberdares National Park

  After breakfast, check out, drive to Aberdares National Park arriving at the base hotel for lunch, The Outspan Hotel, and later transfer to the treetops lodge with an open-air viewing-deck which looks down on to its own water hole and salt-lick, which attracts numerous herds of elephant and buffalo. The lodge offers spectacular viewing and photographic opportunities just meters away from the wildlife at the water hole.

• Day 4 : Aberdares / Samburu National Reserve

  Breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive northwards via the scenic surroundings to the remote Samburu National Reserve arriving in good time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Evening Game viewing drive in the reserve.

• Day 5 : Samburu National Reserve

  Spend the whole day at leisure with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in this reserve inhabited by special game adapted to the semiarid conditions.

• Day 6 : Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. After lunch, venture into the park which is home to flamingos, pelican, white rhino, black rhino, warthog, giraffe, hyena, leopard, buffalo and other numerous plains Game. In the evening enjoy a brisk walk along the shores of the lake as you watch the sun set. You will then be transferred back to the lodge for rest and overnight Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
• Day 7 : Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

  After breakfast at the Lodge followed by a brief game viewing as you drive out of the park to the Africa’s greatest Masai Mara national reserve, arriving in time for Lunch, followed by an evening game viewing drive in the reserve.

• Day 8 : Masai Mara National Reserve

  Spend the whole day at leisure with morning and afternoon game viewing searching for the plain game with an option of picnic lunch. This reserve is most famous for the great wildebeest migration taking place between Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Masai Mara in the months of July and October. The phenomena occur annually where multitude of wildebeest and zebras move from Tanzania in July to Masai Mara and return at the end of October.

• Day 9 : Masai Mara- Nairobi

  Breakfast at the Lodge. Check out and drive to Nairobi with en-route stop over along the way with a chance to stop at the Great Rift Valley view Point to enjoy a panoramic view of the dramatic escarpment. On arrival transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for in time to connect with your outbound flight.
