KILIMANJARO WONDER

Day 1 on the Lemosho Route begins in Lemosho Forest. Trekking through the forested zone marks the start of the approach towards Mount Kilimanjaro. Participants establish camp and prepare for the multi day ascent following the Lemosho forest trails.

Day 2 continues through Lemosho Forest as the route progresses higher. The day involves further trekking through forested terrain, acclimatization and overnight camping in the Lemosho area.

Day 3 moves onto the Shira Plateau, a high altitude plateau section of the Lemosho Route. The day covers trekking across plateau terrain with changing vegetation and landscapes and includes setting up camp on or near the plateau.

Day 4 reaches the Barranco area. Trekkers traverse the route toward Barranco, experiencing varied terrain and preparing for further ascent. Camp is set up in the Barranco sector for the night.

Day 5 proceeds to Karanga. The trek approaches and reaches the Karanga valley area, a key high camp location on the approach to the summit, with overnight camping to aid acclimatization.

Day 6 ascends to Barafu camp, the final high camp before summit attempt. The day is focused on gaining elevation and preparing for the summit push, with camp established at Barafu for pre summit rest.

Day 7 is the summit day followed by descent toward Mweka. The itinerary includes the summit attempt from Barafu, reaching the summit, and then descending to Mweka for overnight rest and recovery.

Day 8 covers final descent from Mweka and completion of the trek. This day concludes the trekking itinerary with the final descent from the mountain and end of trekking services.
