  Day 1: The Ascent & The Central Reservoirs
  Time Area Activity Description
  Morning The Ascent Travel to Meghamalai & Check-in Start early from Theni/Chinnamanur. Enjoy the exciting, winding drive up the ghat road through tea and cardamom plantations. Check into your booked accommodation near the Highwavys area.
  Lunch Highwavys Area Local Estate Lunch Enjoy a simple, traditional meal at your homestay or a local eatery.
  Afternoon Highwavys Dam & Lake Visit the Highwavys Dam. This is a large, central reservoir. Take a relaxing walk along the dam area and enjoy the views of the surrounding manicured tea estates and the calm lake.
  Late Afternoon Venniyar Estate & Lake Explore the nearby Venniyar Tea Estate and its associated lake/dam area. This is a great spot for leisurely nature walks and photography, offering that signature misty atmosphere.
  Evening Megamalai Viewpoint Drive to the main Megamalai Viewpoint to catch the evening clouds, or if the weather is clear, a spectacular sunset over the hills.
  Night Hills Night Dinner and rest at your estate accommodation.

  Day 2: Remote Dams & Panoramic Vistas
  Time Area Activity Description
  Morning Remote Dams Manalar Dam & Iravangalar Dam This morning is dedicated to the more remote reservoirs. Visit Manalar Dam (built across the Suruli River), which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Cumbum Valley and the distant plains below. Next, visit the tranquil Iravangalar Dam, tucked away amidst dense forests and tea gardens.
  Lunch Picnic Lunch Pack a simple lunch to enjoy near one of the quieter dams (Manalar or Iravangalar) to maximize your time in nature.
  Afternoon Maharaja Mettu Viewpoint Head to Maharaja Mettu, another stunning viewpoint maintained by the Forest Department. This elevated spot provides a “bird’s-eye view” of the entire mountain range and multiple reservoirs.
  Late Afternoon Tea Factory/Estate Walk Take a walk through a working tea or cardamom plantation (if allowed). Learn about the processing and the local cash crops that define Meghamalai. Look out for the famous cardamom aroma.
  Night Wildlife Watch Engage in a guided walk near your estate or simply stay alert near the property for possible sightings of Gaur (Indian Bison) or Sambar Deer, especially at dawn or dusk.

• Day 3 : day 3

  Day 3: Foothill Falls & Departure
  Time Area Activity Description
  Morning Descent Check-out and Chinna Suruli Falls Check out and begin the descent from the main hilltop. Stop at the foothills near Kombaithozhu village to visit Chinna Suruli Falls (Cloudland Falls), which is fed by the reservoirs you just visited.
  Late Morning Shanmuganathi Dam Drive towards the foothill area to visit the Shanmuganathi Dam, another serene reservoir situated against the backdrop of the Meghamalai Hills.
  Lunch Theni/Chinnamanur Have a final meal in Theni town.
  Afternoon Vaigai Dam (Theni District’s Main Dam) If time allows before your departure, make a stop at the massive Vaigai Dam near Andipatti, which is the most prominent dam in the entire district.
  Evening Departure Proceed to the Theni Bus Stand or Railway Station/Madurai for your onward journey.
