Day 1 : Arrival at Auckland

Kia Ora! Welcome to New Zealand, the youngest country on Earth! On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Auckland is a blend of islands, Polynesian culture, glistening harbours and modern city environment. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city and discover why it is one of the best places in the world to visit.

Day 2 : Auckland Highlights Tour including Sky Tower Entry

Combine the highlights of Auckland City and entry to Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower into one great half day Auckland experience. Day 3 : Auckland to Rotorua (via Waitomo Caves)

One day tour from Auckland to the beautiful Waitomo Glowworm Caves and geothermal wonderland of Rotorua (One way trip). Your tour starts with a pick up from your hotel in Auckland our comfortable minibus.
We'll then drive through the stunning Waikato countryside on a fully guided journey to Waitomo Caves. During the journey to Waitomo you will encounter New Zealand's longest river, beautiful mountains, and see several different farm animals along the way.
Once in Waitomo you will explore the ancient and amazing caves, with it's many different cave formations including Stalactites, Stalagmites and Lime Columns, before descending even further underground for your glowworm experience. Board your glowworm boat for a cruise on the grotto river with thousands of glowworms - which are unique to New Zealand - glittering above your head.
Waitomo Glowworm Caves are a must see for any traveller.
We will continue our adventure with another fully guided journey south to Rotorua, with many more attractionsto see along the way, including hydro dams, rivers and lots more animals
Rotorua- Once in Rotorua we will guide you past many of its famous and historical sites, including Lake Rotorua, The Government Gardens, Blue Baths, Thermal Springs and Polynesian Spa, before dropping you at your accommodation or a central Rotorua location.

Day 5 : Transfer from Rotorua to Queenstown

In the morning check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Queenstown. On arrival in Queenstown, you will be transferred and check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Queenstown on your own.

Day 7 : Milford Sound Experience - Queenstown Departure

Our Milford Sound day tour was established in 1994 and is a top-rated small group Milford Experience. We allow our guests to escape the crowds and offer a truly unique day, showcasing this world famous region. On this full-day tour to Milford Sound enjoy guided commentary touring to and from Milford Sound with our experienced guides. Our small group tours give our guests the ability to get to know the driver and each other, creating a more personal and memorable experience. Once in Milford Sound, we join a stunning two-hour small boat nature cruise on the fjord – see waterfalls, fur seals, penguins and occasionally dolphins. Enjoy fun and informative commentary from your nature guide, and plenty of off-the-beaten-track visits away from the crowds.We have custom made, 16 seat, glass roof Mercedes touring vehicles. This is business classtravel with extended legroom, leather interior, panoramic windowsfor the best views, and USB charging ports onboard. Travelling to Milford is a 12-13 hour day from Queenstown. Visit Feather dale Wildlife Park and experience the amazing variety of Australian wildlife. Hand- feed kangaroos,see Koalas, and wombats, as well as many more native Australian birds and wildlife. Day 16 : Full Day Great Ocean Road Tour

Great Ocean Road tours are a highlight for most on their visit to Melbourne and our high-quality vehicles and excellent guides will make this a day to remember. Departing Melbourne at around8.00 am, we enjoy panoramic views of the city and Port Phillip Bay as we crossthe Westgate Bridge, Australia's longest bridge at just under 2.6 kilometers length. We pass by and learn a little about Victoria’s second-largest city, Geelong, as we make our way down towardsthe Surf Coast, with its enchanting beachside towns and powerful swells.
In Torquay, we stop for our first opportunity to visit the beach and to enjoy a complimentary morning tea. Departing Torquay, we set out along the Great Ocean Road itself, as your experienced driver- guide provides informative commentary about the road’s history and its place in Australian folklore.
The scenic journey along the Great Ocean Road is a highlight in itself, as we absorb some spectacular coastal scenery, with new views being revealed around every bend. We make plenty of scenic stops, including, of course, a photo opportunity at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch at Eastern View.
At the Township of Kennett River, we make a brief detour into the sweetly-scented eucalyptus forest to locate some of the local koalas in their native habitat. There is a large koala population here and numerous sightings are guaranteed! We also have an opportunity to see colourful local birdlife, including crimson rosellas and king parrots.
We then continue towards our lunch stop in Apollo Bay with another photo stop at Cape Patton on the way. After lunch, we follow the Great Ocean Road away from the ocean and into the mountains. The tour proceeds through the impressive Otway Ranges, where we stop to enjoy a stroll in the cool temperate rainforest. Here our guide accompanies the group through the forest, where we stop to learn a little about the world’stallest flowering trees and other ancient rainforest species.
And then it’s onwardsto the world-famous Port Campbell National Park and itsiconic array of rock formations. You’ll be awestruck by the majestic monoliths of the Twelve Apostles. Here we also have the opportunity to take to the air with an optional helicopter flight ($145 per person). For those guests who don’t take to the air, a further stop is possible at Gibsons Steps. Here, guests can descend the stepsto Gibsons Beach below for beach level views of two of the Twelve Apostles. Just
down the road isthe heart of the Shipwreck Coast, the Loch Ard Gorge where 52 lives were lost and only 2 soulssurvived the wreck of the Loch Ard in 1878. Your guide will recount the legend of the Loch Ard, bringing the gorge to life in a way you never imagined. We take time to explore here, with more rock formations to see, including the Razorback, the Dumpling Pots and the delightful Island Archway.
We have been advised by Parks Victoria that accessto the gorge at Loch Ard Gorge will be closed until sometime in Spring 2023 (i.e.September-November) due to dangerous cliff movement near the Upper Lookout, which could cause a collapse.
We will still be visiting this location, asthere are many other interesting & spectacular viewpoints around the area above the gorge.
A dinner stop is made on the journey back to Melbourne before enjoying a stunning view of the illuminated city as we crossthe Westgate Bridge again. With drop off right back to your inner city accommodation, you’ll remember this day as a true highlight of your Australian holiday.

Day 17 : Departure from Melbourne
